Welcome to Art Class!

Wrightstown art classes occur on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. 

Council Rock School District is passionate about the fine arts! Our classes foster creativity and expression, while encouraging problem solving, critical thinking, and fine motor skill development. Every student in grades 1-6 meets with their art teacher on a weekly basis to learn more about art production, history, and criticism. Students are encouraged to try new art-making techniques, engage with different materials, and create their own masterpieces. Students are also exposed to a wide range of art historical content, including prehistoric to contemporary works of art, and a global selection of professional artists. It is the goal of the department to help each child achieve their own unique form of artistic success and to encourage every child to become an effective visual communicator.
