What is IST?
Instructional Support is a program whose goal is to maximize individual student success in the regular classroom, while at the same time, serving as a screening process for students who may be in need of special education services.
Collaboration and joint planning occur throughout the process to determine which teaching and learning strategies, techniques, or programs best address the individual student's needs.
