Hello, 3rd Graders!

I can't wait to get this school year started!   I am starting to work in our room and soon it will be ready for the 1st day of school.

I wanted to let you know a little bit about me before we begin our year together.

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE:

- spending time with my family & friends (especially at my FAVORITE place...the BEACH!).

- my husband, my two kids, a boy age 16 (Joe) and a girl age 14 (Cappie).

- my pets (a rescue dog named "Captain", a Yorkie named "Tennille" a blue & gold Macaw named "Ziggy."  

- gardening...Spring is also my favorite season.

- photography...I ALWAYS bring my camera with me to every event (sometimes to the dismay of my kids).

- reading...I read 8 books this summer.

- teaching...this has been my dream profession since I was a little girl.

I can't wait to meet you and learn more about you!
